Ibis Hotel

A few steps from the train station, the new Nîmes Ibis hotel is distinguished by its contemporary architecture. The angle of the two main facades is wearing a fishnet terracotta that playe with light and adds mystery and depth to the building. On a regular grid of vertical spines galvanized steel, Autan sunscreen are assembled in horizontal rows of four elements of one of three colours chosen by the architects in the wide range offered by TERREAL.

Terracotta baguettes for a colourful pixelated façade

These features terracotta are distributed in a random manner, as the colours shift in the West Africa textile panels, consisting of strips sewn together after weaving.
The pace of the mesh, is tighter than a sunshade and is a true double skin through which the coated beige wall is barely discernible . It also forms railings for the last level "penthouse ". Pinion and crown metal visor facades are equipped with the same terracotta baguettes Autan in violine shade.
